Tasks:

Lead and enhance software release management, support Agile teams, drive best practices, maintain platform security and performance, and continuously improve infrastructure and application development while staying updated on industry trends.

• Manage our software and infrastructure release roll-out.
• Enhancing and supporting a build framework for deploying applications.
• Supporting and working alongside Agile development teams to ensure they have all the facilities to get the job done.
• SDriving best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm.
• Establishing and running the processes for on-going maintenance monitoring support and security patching of a platform.
• Ensuring continuous improvement within the team.
• Advocate and modernize the services (performance, availability, OLA/SLA,...)
• Improve infrastructure development and application development
• Keep yourself up to date attending main conferences, as well as workshops and in-house trainings

Skills:

Experienced in Git and CI/CD, skilled in automation with Ansible/Terraform, DevOps, database management, scripting, networking, server administration, and adept at diagnosing and resolving operational issues with strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Experience with code versioning systems such as Git and CI/CD frameworks and scripting languages (preferably GitLab-CI).
• Strong attention to detail, astute diagnostic skills.
• Experience in usage of automation/configuration management platforms (Ansible, Terraform...)
• Experience in DevOps activities.
• Knowledge of Relational databases administration and tuning (preferably SQL Server Database).
• Python and Shell scripting
• Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewall.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with immediate team members, other IT areas, and clients in other departments.
• Windows/Linux server operative system administration and performance tuning.
• Ability to identify operational issues, support and provide real time solutions for them making appropriate decision.
