Technical Writer
Prepare and maintain technical documents including software, platform API, and system operations documentation for internal and external use
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for software platforms, APIs, and system operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Prepare and maintain technical documents, including software, platform API, system operations and user documentation, for internal and/or external use
- Meet with subject-matter experts to independently gather information and ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed and documented
- Collaborate with other teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the platform and the documentation requirements
- Contribute to creating appropriate reference materials to help customer support, partners and marketing teams
- Determine the clearest way to present information for greatest reader comprehension
- Review and improve content developed by other members of the team
- Inspire and help identify innovation opportunities for content and workflow solutions
Qualifications
Experienced technical writer with strong communication skills, ability to quickly learn complex topics, and familiarity with Agile principles and software development.
- 3+ years of prior experience in technical writing of software documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills in English and ideally one more language: French, Italian or German
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
- Ability to check all technical material for consistency and accuracy
- Familiarity with Agile principles and software development
- Knowledge of the digital health domain is a plus
- Immaculate interpersonal skills combined with a sense for negotiation and leadership
